Grieving for Marlee

It has been the hardest week of my entire life. Everyday I wake up expecting to go downstairs to be greeted by my beloved Marlee. Every time, I am sadly disappointed.
I put my heart and soul into both of my dogs, and now, the youngest of them, not even 8 years old, has left my family and I.
I'm just taking it one slow step at a time right now as I begin the healing process. This isn't the first wound I've been dealt, mind you... but it's certainly the deepest...
I hope you're at peace Marlee. You deserve only the best.
